The Kakamega Forest is the only remaining remnant in Kenya of the once vast Guineo-Congolian rainforest that once stretched across Central Africa. This enchanting ecosystem is alive with sound and color — a haven for over 300 bird species, 400 butterfly species, and seven species of primates, including the rare and striking De Brazza’s monkey.
